A Hollywood Smile is a set of veneers — thin shells bonded to the visible surface of the front teeth — designed as one composition: shape, length, shade, gum line and lip support decided together. Done well, nobody asks which dentist you went to. They ask what changed.
The veneer systems we use
ZEvolution® Veneers
German-engineered, ultra-thin, no-prep veneers invented and trademarked by Dr. Habib Zarifeh and launched at the AADEC exhibition in Dubai. Zero drilling for suitable cases: the enamel stays intact.
Lumineers® by Den-Mat®
The original ultra-thin Cerinate® porcelain veneer. Dr. Zarifeh served for over a decade as an international speaker for Lumineers®, training dentists across the Middle East and Africa in their placement.
IPS e.max® porcelain
Lithium-disilicate veneers and crowns for cases that need more shape change or strength — milled or pressed, with Sirona Cerec same-day workflows available.
Composite veneers
Hand-sculpted directly on the tooth in a single visit; over 20 years of experience with composite at Smile Infinity®. The fastest route for a patient on a short trip.
Clinical photographs from the Smile Infinity® archive — teeth and lips only, no patient is identifiable. Results vary from one patient to another; your own plan is written after your photos are reviewed.
Designing a smile for an African face
Shade is the decision most patients get wrong when they choose alone. The brightest shade on the chart does not suit every complexion; a smile that looks natural on darker skin is bright but not chalk-white, with slight translucency at the edges. We photograph, design and show you the proposed smile before any tooth is touched. Gum colour is part of the same design: many patients from Guinea ask for laser gum depigmentation in the same stay, so that pink gums frame the new veneers.
The process in one stay
Before you travel
Photos and, ideally, a panoramic X-ray on WhatsApp. Teeth that need treatment first — decay, gum disease, alignment — are identified now, not on arrival.
Day one: consultation and digital smile design
Clinical examination, photographs, shade selection with you, and a digital preview of the result.
Preparation and provisionals
No-prep systems need no drilling; e.max cases need minimal reduction. Provisionals let you test the shape in daily life.
Final bonding and check-up
Veneers bonded, bite checked, photographs taken. You fly home with the aftercare protocol and your coordinator’s direct line.
Where to have it done
Dubai for English-speaking patients and the full range of whitening and alignment options; Beirut when veneers are part of a larger dental or aesthetic plan; Abidjan for a French-speaking centre a short flight from Conakry with no visa.
Honest answers
- How long do veneers last? Porcelain veneers routinely serve ten to fifteen years or longer with good hygiene and no habit of biting hard objects; composite veneers are quicker to place and easier to repair but typically need renewal sooner.
- Will my teeth be drilled? Not with no-prep systems on suitable teeth. Some cases need minimal preparation; we tell you which before you travel.
- Can veneers fix crooked teeth? Mild misalignment, yes. Significant crowding is better aligned first — Invisalign® or Inman Aligner — and then veneered, if still needed.
- What about the gums? Dark gums and a gummy smile are treated with laser in the same stay; healthy gums are a condition for any veneer case.
